ABOUT THE ARTIST

Annemarieke Kloosterhof is a multi-disciplinary designer based in East London. Originally from a small village in The Netherlands, she moved to London in 2011 to study at Central Saint Martins, where she graduated with a BA Hons. Graphic Design & Communication, specialising in “Illustration”, before starting her art practice.

A lover of colour, composition and texture, Annemarieke enjoys creating anything hand-made: From 2D collages & illustrations, to 3D miniatures & large scale paper installations.

Experimentation is the key driving force behind her work, and inspiration takes shape through themes of Culture, Language, Sociology, Psychology, Architecture and Science. 

With over 10 years experience in the British film industry, her work spreads across Art Direction, Prop Making and Set Dressing for a wide range of clients and projects, including High End TV, Commercials, Music Videos, Animation and Short Films.
 

Though her portfolio is diverse, all her projects have 1 thing in common… an incredibly high level of detail & craftsmanship!
